Yes, ideally completely empty. With furniture and boxes still in place we can only clean around them, and the areas a walk-through inspects most closely — floors, baseboards, closet interiors — are exactly the areas furniture hides. If a few large items cannot be moved, tell us in advance and we will plan around them.
